Bloomfield, NM – Update: Timothy Broccolo Dies in Semi-Truck Rollover on US-550

Bloomfield, NM (December 6, 2022) – A Farmington man was killed after a tractor-trailer overturned outside of Bloomfield on Saturday, December 3. 

The deadly crash was reported on US-550 that morning at around 6:47 a.m. It was reported that 36-year-old Timothy J. Broccolo of Farmington was operating a 2011 Kenworth commercial vehicle when one of the left tires on the rig experienced a blowout. The truck crossed into northbound traffic, hit a guardrail, and rolled over. 

Broccolo was ejected in the crash and sustained fatal injuries. No additional information on the deadly incident has been provided. 

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
