Cuba, NM – Randy Joe Miller Dies in Semi Crash on US-55

Cuba, NM (January 11, 2022) – A Colorado man was killed and another person was injured following a tractor-trailer accident on US-55 in the Cuba area on Friday, January 7. 

Local reports revealed that a 2020 Volvo tractor-trailer was headed east on the highway when it crashed into a ravine. The operator of the rig was identified as 68-year-old Randy Joe Miller of Northglenn, Colorado. Miller sustained fatal injuries in the accident. 

A 77-year-old male passenger in the semi was injured and airlifted to a local hospital in serious condition. No additional information on the accident has been revealed at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
