Gallup, NM - Auto Collision Causes Injuries on I-40 near Fort Wingate

Gallup, NM (March 26, 2023 ) - A major car crash was reported to police near Gallup on the evening of March 25. Paramedics and police went to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred at around 7:04 p.m. 

According to reports, the incident happened on Interstate 40 near Fort Wingate. An unknown number of cars collided and caused injuries. Those involved in the accident have not been identified at this time. 

One or more injured victims were treated by paramedics at the scene. What caused the incident to occur is still being investigated by area authorities.
