Gallup, NM - Major Motor Vehicle Crash on I-40 near Arizona State Line

Gallup, NM (March 26, 2023) - Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in Gallup on the morning of March 25. At approximately 8:34 a.m., the incident was reported to officials in the area, who quickly went to help those involved. 

Local officials report the wreck happened on Interstate 40 near milepost 1, about one mile east of the Arizona State Line. What caused the accident to happen is still unclear, however, authorities are investigating.
