Hatch, NM - Three Killed in Semi-Truck Collision on NM-26

Hatch, NM (March 2, 2023) - On Thursday, March 2, three people were killed following an accident involving two semi-trucks outside of Hatch. 

The deadly collision was first reported on NM-26, roughly 15 miles outside of the city. Two tractor-trailers were involved in the crash, and all lanes were temporarily closed on the roadway. The identities of the deceased victims have not been disclosed at this time. 

The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
