Luna County, NM - Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-10 near W Deming

Luna County, NM (October 29, 2022) - Emergency responders were sent to the scene of a tractor-trailer accident on the evening of Wednesday, October 26. Reports show that the crash occurred on I-10 for reasons still under police investigation. 

Responders were sent to the scene shortly after the accident happened to render aid to the injured victims. The New Mexico Department of Transportation reported that the wreck happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. on I-10 past Deming Station Road and the Petro Travel Center. 

Details are currently limited. Traffic delays ensued near the wreck site for an extended time period as emergency crews worked to secure the scene and assist the involved parties. 

The names of those involved have not been reported at this time. We hope for the fast recovery of the injured victims.
