Mountainair, NM - Judge Involved in Fatal Bicycle Crash on US-60
Mountainair, NM (September 23, 2019) - Authorities claim that a New Mexico judge was recently involved in a fatal cycling accident. One of the cyclists was killed and the other injured. The incident took place on US Hwy 60 on Monday, September 23rd.
Reports from investigators claim that District Judge Shanon Murdock was traveling on US-60 EB toward Mountainair, New Mexico at the time of the crash. She struck the two eastbound cyclists, killing one and injuring the other. Investigators do not believe that alcohol played a part in the accident.
This crash is still under investigation. More details will be released as it continues.
