Organ, NM - Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Tahoe on US-70 near Bataan Memorial

Organ, NM (December 12, 2022) - On Friday, December 9, a 16-year-old pedestrian was killed in an accident near Organ.
The deadly crash was reported on US-70 near Bataan Memorial at around 4 p.m. Emergency units were called to the scene of a pedestrian-vehicle accident. It was revealed that the pedestrian was traveling on a sidewalk when they were hit by an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe.
The 16-year-old victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 18-year-old Isaiah Angel Anthony Gutierrez, remained at the scene and was charged in relation to the crash.
