Roswell, NM - Man Killed In DUI Crash At E Hobbs St & Main St

Roswell, NM (December 7, 2019) - One man was killed and three others injured in a three-vehicle collision in Roswell, New Mexico on Thursday evening, December 5th. The incident took place at around 10 p.m. at the intersection of East Hobbs Street and Main Street.
The crash occurred when Luke Maxwell Towner was driving a pickup truck and he rear-ended the Hyundai sedan Douglas Annis, 26, was traveling in. The impact caused the Hyundai to collide with a Chevy sedan also waiting at the intersections.
Annis sustained fatal injuries in the crash and two others in the Hyundai were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Towner was arrested under charges of vehicular homicide and has been charged with driving while intoxicated. Local authorities are handling the investigation into the crash.
