Santa Fe, NM - Dominic Gonzales Killed In Rollover Crash on I-25 Near NM-599
Santa Fe, NM (September 3, 2019) - A man was killed in a collision in Santa Fe, NM, on Interstate 25 near NM Hwy 599. The accident occurred late Tuesday evening, August 27. 21-year-old Dominic Gonzales, of Santa Fe, was ejected in the crash and sustained fatal injuries.
According to reports from New Mexico State Police, a 2006 black BMW SUV with three occupants was traveling southbound on the interstate at a high-speed. The BMW left the roadway for unknown reasons and overturned. The remaining occupants of the vehicle -- two Santa Fe woman aged 18 and 23 -- were also injured in the accident.
Routine toxicology tests are currently pending. An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the rollover.
