Santa Fe, NM - James Coriz Dies in Pedestrian Accident on I-25
Santa Fe, NM (February 2, 2022) - A man from Santo Domingo Pueblo was killed following a pedestrian crash in Santa Fe on Monday morning, January 31. The deadly crash took place on Interstate 25 near mile marker 280 at around 2:42 a.m.
A pedestrian was reportedly traveling along the highway when they were hit by a motor vehicle. The driver fled the scene, and the victim’s body was later found by authorities at around 6 a.m. The man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
The deceased party was later identified as 40-year-old James Coriz. Authorities are currently seeking information concerning the identity of the at-fault motorist and the vehicle involved in the crash.
