Sunland Park, NM - 2 Injured in Crash at First St & Edgewood Blvd
Sunland Park, NM (January 1, 2020) - Emergency responders in Sunland Park, New Mexico responded to the scene of a car crash earlier this morning. The accident took place on New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1st. The site of the crash was located at the intersection of First Street and Edgewood Boulevard.
According to police reports, a driver, 26, failed to stop at a stop sign, crashing into another vehicle at the intersection. The impact caused the driver of the second vehicle, identified as a woman in her twenties, to collide with two parked vehicles. Both drivers were transported to a medical facility in El Paso, Texas for treatment.
No further details are known at this time. Local officials are conducting an investigation into the accident.
