Taos, NM - UPDATE: 2 Killed Following Fatal Crash on SR-522
Taos, NM (September 6, 2019) – Authorities have confirmed that two people were killed in a fatal crash that took place on State Route 522. One party was previously identified by the police.
The Taos County Sheriff’s Office originally reported that two drivers, a 30-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old, were killed in an accident that took place on Wednesday night. The 30-year-old was previously identified as a rising country music singer and mother of one, Kylie Rae Harris.
The other party whose life was taken was identified as a 16-year-old girl. The third driver involved in the accident escaped injury.
Police are still working on their investigation but believe that one of the parties had been driving intoxicated at the time. At this time, they are still attempting to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
