New Mexico High-Speed Accidents
Speeding can impact a driver’s ability to safely operate their vehicle and properly react to hazards on the road. Despite these risks, many people are perfectly comfortable speeding. Thousands are killed in high-speed crashes each year, accounting for 26% of reported vehicle fatalities in 2018. That year, an average of 25 people were killed daily in high-speed collisions across the country.
In the state of New Mexico, plaintiffs injured in a vehicle collision have a right to be fully compensated for injuries resulting from the actions of a negligent party. When calculating the extent of a victim’s damages, many different factors are taken into consideration, including the suffering endured by the victim and the extent of their financial damages resulting from a New Mexico car accident. Considering all these factors can be overwhelming for those trying their best to recover after a car accident.
