Will Ferguson Appointed to Airport Board
Managing Lawyer Maintains Commitment to Public Service
Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller has appointed Will Ferguson, managing attorney of Will Ferguson & Associates, to the City of Albuquerque Airport Advisory Board.
The nine-member board makes recommendations to the aviation director, who runs the Albuquerque International Sunport. The airport generates income for the City of Albuquerque through landing fees, terminal rental fees, baggage claim fees, loading bridge fees and concession sales.
Passengers flying through the Sunport can fly nonstop to 24 cities. The Sunport is served by nine passenger airlines, plus FedEx and UPS. It saw an average of 370 landings and takeoffs per day in 2017.
Will Ferguson: 'I Will Do My Best'
“I am deeply honored and I will do my best to ensure that the Albuquerque International Sunport is a credit to the people of our great city,” Will Ferguson said. His appointment runs through December 2021.
The Albuquerque City council confirmed Will Ferguson's appointment on March 5.
In making the appointment, the mayor cited Will Ferguson’s more than 30 years experience in the aviation industry.
