Albuquerque, NM – Aspen Ave NE Crash Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (January 21, 2024) – The Albuquerque Police Department, Albuquerque Fire Rescue, and emergency medical services were all summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in which at least one person suffered injuries. The police received a request for assistance at around 10:30 p.m. on January 20.

According to official reports, an automobile accident took place on Aspen Avenue Northeast. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway just north of Constitution Avenue Northeast as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the roadway. Emergency medical services rushed to the accident site to provide timely care for the injured victims. Those with more serious injuries were transported to local hospitals by ambulance. Emergency officials remained at the scene for more than 35 minutes as they worked to reopen the road. The crash is currently undergoing investigation.
