Albuquerque, NM – EMS Called to Crash on San Mateo Blvd NE

Albuquerque, NM (January 28, 2024) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place in Albuquerque on Saturday, January 27. The accident was reported to the police at approximately 4:10 p.m.

According to local law enforcement, a collision involving an unknown number of vehicles took place on San Mateo Boulevard Northeast. The accident prompted the closure of the roadway as emergency crews remained at the scene for more than 45 minutes, clearing the road.  Emergency medical services were summoned to the crash site to care for the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are ongoing.
