Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Car Wreck at I-40 & University Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (June 24, 2024) – On Monday, June 24, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car accident in Albuquerque. That morning around 7:57 a.m. the collision occurred on Interstate 40 WB near University Boulevard NE. Attending medical personnel treated the crash victims at the scene. 

At least one person was hurt, but the severity of the related damages has not been determined. The injured parties were later transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. No further updates on their conditions have been provided. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks could remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
