Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Wreck at 47th St & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (August 18, 2024) – On Sunday, August 18, at least one person sustained injuries after an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. That morning at around 2:30 a.m., the collision was first reported at the crossing of 47th Street Northwest and Central Avenue Southwest. Emergency responders were dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. 

Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. The site was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No further information has been provided thus far. However, local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
