Albuquerque, NM - Expanded Traffic Crash at Spain Rd & Tramway Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 11, 2025) - At least one person was hurt after a car wreck in the Albuquerque area on Friday, January 10. The collision occurred that morning around 11:34 a.m. at the crossing of Spain Road NE and Tramway Boulevard NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been informed so far. 

The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel. Those requiring further support were later hospitalized. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
