Albuquerque, NM (April 10, 2023) - On Monday, April 10, there were reported injuries after a car crash in Albuquerque.
The collision was reported that morning at around 7:38 a.m. at the corner of San Pedro Drive and Mountain Road. At least one person involved sustained injuries, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not been confirmed. The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
In 2019, there were more than 50,000 traffic collisions in New Mexico. A total of 2,415 persons were hurt overall, and 425 more lost their lives in traffic collisions across the state. Car crashes frequently occur from risky driving habits, such as drinking and driving or driving while distracted, and fatal car accidents can happen for a variety of reasons, including texting while driving, being tired, and congested roads. In the event that another driver's carelessness resulted in your injuries in a New Mexico car accident, you might be entitled to compensation.
Many people involved in car accidents depend on insurance adjusters to handle their claims, but their main objective is to offer plaintiffs the smallest payout achievable. The adjusters will try every trick in the book to deny your claim and keep you from receiving the full amount of compensation if you entirely rely on them during the settlement process. The target market for these insurance companies will be those who are involved in car accidents in New Mexico without an attorney or who are unsure of how much compensation they need.
After filing for compensation, many accident victims are prone to accepting the lowball offers made by overzealous insurance adjusters. Never try to handle your claim without the help of an attorney. It is common for insurance adjusters to settle claims for less than their full worth. Although the insurance adjuster deals with car accident circumstances on a daily basis, you might not be familiar with them. Never provide your personal contact information to an insurance adjuster, and instead give them the number for your attorney.
