Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Injured in Wreck at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (January 24, 2025) – On Thursday, January 23, at least one person was hurt in the aftermath of an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred on Interstate 25 SB near Montano Road NE early that morning around 11:49 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and those requiring treatment were provided aid by attending medical personnel.

Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional support. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were later dispatched to reopen the road to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is available at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
