Albuquerque, NM – Car Wreck Ends in Injuries at Barstow St & Carmel Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 15, 2024) – On Sunday, July 14, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place that evening around 9:21 p.m. at the corner of Barstow Street NE and Carmel Avenue NE. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No additional information is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation, and more updates will be provided as it progresses.
