Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck with Injuries at 4th St & Palo Duro Ave

Albuquerque, NM (February 19, 2024) - There were reported injuries following a car wreck in Albuquerque on Monday afternoon, February 19. The collision was reported at around 4th Street NW and Palo Duro Avenue NW at around 3:13 p.m. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. The number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. 

The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
