High-Speed Collisions in New Mexico
The citizens of New Mexico have a history of breaking the law and exceeding the speed limit. Unfortunately, the state’s drivers are more likely to feel comfortable speeding, and everyone is at greater risk of suffering severe injuries in a car accident as a result of this reckless behavior. Speeding makes it even harder for drivers to maintain control of their vehicles and come to a quick stop to prevent potentially deadly collisions. Tens of thousands of Americans lose their lives in speed-related crashes each year. In New Mexico, drivers who speed account for almost 25 percent of all traffic fatalities. Drivers should be held responsible for their actions if they choose to go over the speed limit and cause a major collision since speeding puts everyone on the road at great risk.
