Albuquerque, NM – Collision at 98th St & I-40 Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (May 29, 2024) – At least one person was hurt following a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday, May 29. The collision took place at the crossing of 98th Street NW and Interstate 40 EB that morning around 9:53 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the extent and number of the related damages have not been determined. 

The crash victims were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been disclosed at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
