Albuquerque, NM – Collision at San Mateo Blvd & Venice Ave Causes Injury

Albuquerque, NM (January 25, 2025) – On Thursday, January 23, there were reported injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred late that night around 6:41 p.m. at the crossing of San Mateo Boulevard NE and Venice Avenue NE. At least one person involved suffered injuries in the collision. 

The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel, and those requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized for treatment. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting wreckage and other debris. No additional information on the accident is currently available. Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident into the cause of the crash, and more updates will be released as the investigation continues.
