Everyone on the road has a duty to drive carefully and prevent causing harm to others. In New Mexico, far too many people fail to live up to what should be a simple rule. Over 45,000 car accidents are reported in New Mexico each year, and distracted driving is mostly to blame for many of these crashes. Approximately every 56 minutes, a distracted driving collision was reported in the state in a recent year. You can travel the length of a football field in the time it takes to send a text message, which is more than enough time to cause a serious auto accident. If you or someone close to you is hurt in a car accident, you should consult with an experienced lawyer to pursue a claim for compensation.
It should not be your responsibility to handle the fallout of a serious crash alone. Instead, speak with a knowledgeable New Mexico auto accident attorney who has handled personal injury cases in the past. During this challenging time, you must make every effort to optimize your recovery. Although the insurance company will make an effort to appear to be on your side, ultimately, they are looking out for their bottom line. Insurance companies are businesses at heart, and their ultimate goal is to reduce liability. The settlement offer provided by the adjuster will likely not be enough to fully cover your injuries and damages.
You need to understand that you are not alone after a serious auto accident. You need an experienced lawyer who is ready to fight for your full and fair compensation if you are unfairly hurt in a collision. Will Ferguson & Associates is ready to get to work on your case and provide the necessary legal guidance to protect your legal rights.
