Albuquerque, NM – Crash at I-40 & 6th St Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (February 7, 2024) – On Wednesday morning, February 7, a serious car crash in Albuquerque required support from local paramedics. The accident took place on Interstate 40 WB near 6th Street NW early that morning at around 8:16 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and the crash victims were provided treatment by attending medical personnel. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The crash victims were later transferred to a local hospital after being treated at the scene. The vehicles involved in the crash sustained significant damage, and the area was temporarily closed for several hours. 

Tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the road to outside traffic. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
