New Mexico Speeding-Related Crashes
Current research has confirmed that New Mexico has the most fatal auto accidents involving speeding drivers in the United States. The study used nine years’ worth of crash statistics to determine that nearly 2,000 deadly crashes in the state during that time involved a speeding driver in some form. Even more, speeding was found to be a factor in 37 percent of all fatal collisions in New Mexico.
There is no set timeframe for a personal injury case. However, the data show that lawsuits involving auto accidents often last between one and a half and two years. Keep in mind that every case is different, and the length of time will depend on the cooperation of the insurance company, relevant appeals, and if the case gets to trial. The fastest way to receive money is to speak with a skilled vehicle accident injury attorney as soon as you can following the collision.
Whiplash, concussions, broken bones, herniated discs, and joint problems are all common after a car crash. In addition to any physical injuries, people who have been injured in collisions frequently feel anxiety and other mental health problems as a result of the accident. You need to make sure you are able to get medical attention after a crash. If you fail to get help from a doctor, it could make it much harder to get compensation down the line.
