Albuquerque, NM – I-40 & San Mateo Blvd Car Crash with Injuries
Albuquerque, NM (November 23, 2023) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a serious car wreck on Saturday, November 18, in the Albuquerque area. At around 12:50 p.m., the incident was first reported on Interstate 40 EB near San Mateo Boulevard NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the severity of the resulting damages has not yet been determined.
The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transported to local hospitals for further aid. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and later reopen the road to outside traffic. No additional information on the collision is available at this time.
