Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Collision at I-40 & 12th St

Albuquerque, NM (January 3, 2025) – On Thursday, January 2, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place on Interstate 40 WB on-ramp near 12th Street NW that afternoon around 1:41 p.m. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.  Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
