Albuquerque, NM - Injuries in Collision at I-40 & Fourth St

Albuquerque, NM (January 15, 2025) - At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a traffic accident in Albuquerque on Tuesday, January 14. Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site on Interstate 40 EB near Fourth Street NW that morning around 8:41 a.m. There were confirmed injuries, but the severity of the related damages has not been disclosed. 

The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. The resulting debris caused the roadway to be closed for several hours, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site.
