Albuquerque, NM – Injury Car Accident at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 18, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Saturday, August 17. The accident took place on Interstate 25 Southbound near Montano Road NE that evening around 8:42 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to provide the necessary medical aid. 

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the severity and the number of the related damages have not been confirmed. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic.
