Albuquerque, NM – Injury Car Accident at PanAm Fwy & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 3, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday, April 4, required support from local paramedics. That morning around 5:56 a.m., the collision took place at the corner of Pan American Freeway NE and San Mateo Boulevard NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render the necessary medical aid. 

The injured parties were later transferred to nearby hospitals after being treated by attending medical personnel. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later sent to clear the resulting wreckage and reopen the roadway. At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. No additional information has been provided. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
