Speeding-related Accidents in New Mexico

Albuquerque, NM - Injury Wreck at San Mateo Blvd & Indian School RdIt is well known that exceeding the speed limit significantly raises the risk of a serious collision. Many drivers in New Mexico still speed on the state's roads and highways, despite the clear risks of doing so. A two-year study recently revealed that there were 370 fatal crashes involving speeding drivers in the state last year. About 35 percent of all traffic fatalities across the Land of Enchantment are caused by high-speed collisions. A driver's ability to control their vehicle and avoid unexpected collisions is impaired when speeding, making it more likely to cause a serious car accident.
