Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Car Accident at I-40 6th St

Albuquerque, NM (July 17, 2024) – On Tuesday, July 16, at least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision was reported that evening, around 9:24 p.m., on the Interstate 40 EB off-ramp near 6th Street NW. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional treatment. At this time, no further updates on the accident are currently available. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris. No additional information is currently available. Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
