Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Collision at I-25 & MLK Ave

Albuquerque, NM (February 20, 2024) - A serious car accident in Albuquerque on Tuesday morning, February 20, required support from local paramedics. The collision occurred on Interstate 25 SB near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue NE at around 9:19 a.m. The injured parties were provided immediate aid by attending medical personnel. 

The injured parties were later transferred to nearby hospitals for additional support after being treated at the scene by responding paramedics. At this time, the number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the scene to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
