Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Collision at San Lorenzo Ave & 4th St

Albuquerque, NM (August 22, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries after a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, August 22. The accident occurred at the corner of San Lorenzo Avenue NW and 4th Street NW early that morning, around 8:02 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further support. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
