Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Crash at Chapel Dr & Erlitz Dr

Albuquerque, NM (September 7, 2024) – On Friday, September 6, there were reported injuries after a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place at around 9:39 p.m. at the intersection of Chapel Drive NW and Erlitz Drive NW. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to provide aid to the involved parties. The victims requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be released as the inquiry progresses.
