Albuquerque, NM – One Killed, One Hurt in Pedestrian Crash at San Mateo Blvd & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (April 14, 2023) – On Friday morning, April 14, two pedestrians were hit in a fatal crash in Albuquerque. 

The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of San Mateo Boulevard and Central Avenue early that morning. Two pedestrians were traveling near the scene when they were struck by a motor vehicle. 

Emergency responders were dispatched, and one of the victims was reportedly in critical condition. Both were hospitalized for treatment, and the victim in critical condition was later pronounced dead. 

No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
