Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Fatally Hit at Tramway & Montgomery Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (February 26, 2024) – On Sunday morning, February 25, a pedestrian was killed following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The fatal crash occurred at the corner of Tramway Boulevard NE and Montgomery Boulevard NE. Local reports indicated that a Toyota FJ Cruiser was headed southbound as a pedestrian entered the roadway to cross from west to east. 

The victim reportedly had already entered the road before the driver came to the intersection. The car struck the pedestrian, and the victim suffered fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

The identity of the deceased party has not been provided. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
