Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Collision on Rio Grande Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 15, 2024) – On Sunday, July 14, there were reported injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred that evening around 10:27 p.m. at the 1050 block of Rio Grande Boulevard NW. At least one person involved suffered injuries in the collision. 

The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel, and those requiring additional treatment were later hospitalized for treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the scene of the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the road to outside traffic. No additional information on the accident is currently available. Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident into the cause of the crash, and more updates will be released as the investigation continues.
