High-Speed Collisions in New Mexico
Speeding drivers were responsible for 11,258 of the 38,824 fatal auto accidents that occurred in the United States in 2020. In addition to making it more difficult to stop quickly, speeding reduces the efficiency of many safety measures on your vehicle. It should come as no surprise that drivers who speed are known to enhance the force of impact in the event of a collision, and speeding accounts for 29 percent of roadway fatalities. This translates to roughly one death every hour and nearly thirty deaths every day.
When you share the road with other drivers, there is always a chance of being involved in an unexpected car accident. There are many factors that can contribute to a serious collision, but in most cases, crashes are caused by the actions of reckless drivers. Injured parties may be able to recover lost compensation with the help of a trained personal injury lawyer. This is often the only way to ensure that your case is treated fairly and that you are able to achieve a complete recovery.
You should not leave your recovery to chance or in the hands of a large insurance company. You need to be able to work with a trained lawyer who will be able to handle your claim and ensure that your case is treated fairly. The insurer will do everything in its power to get you to accept a subpar settlement offer, and these companies are known to even deny legitimate claims on a technicality.
