Albuquerque, NM - Serious Injury Wreck at I-40 & Wyoming Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (October 31, 2024) - On Wednesday, October 30, a car crash in Albuquerque resulted in confirmed injuries. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on the Interstate 40 WB off-ramp near Wyoming Boulevard NE that evening around 11:13 p.m. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

The accident victims were provided aid by attending medical personnel. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for additional treatment. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. Tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. Local law enforcement officials are managing an ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision.
