Albuquerque, NM – Traffic Collision Reported on 5th St SW

Albuquerque, NM (October 14, 2023) – On Friday afternoon, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department and firefighters from the Albuquerque Fire Rescue were notified that their response was needed at the scene of a collision in Bernalillo County.

APD reports indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked 5th Street Southwest at approximately 12:30 p.m. on October 13. Authorities responded to the scene and shut down multiple lanes as they provided assistance.

Medics were notified that their help was needed on-site at the collision. Injured parties were treated on-site briefly and transported by ambulance to local medical facilities.

The incident is being investigated by the Albuquerque Police Department at this time.
