Albuquerque, NM – Traffic Collision Reported on San Mateo Blvd NE

Albuquerque, NM (February 3, 2024) – On Saturday, emergency officials out of Albuquerque were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person was injured. The crash was reported to the Albuquerque Police Department at approximately 8:40 a.m. on February 3.

According to authorities, vehicles collided on San Mateo Boulevard Northeast near Lomas Boulevard Northeast during the morning hours. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the intersection extensively as they worked to clear the scene for more than 30 minutes. At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. The incident is being investigated at this time.
