Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Accident Causes Injuries on NM 423

Albuquerque, NM (April 29, 2023) - A major car crash happened in Albuquerque on the morning of April 28. At approximately 11:35 a.m., emergency crews, including police, EMTs, and fire crews, were sent to the scene shortly after the accident happened in order to render aid and investigate. 

According to reports from authorities, the accident occurred on New Mexico Route 423 near milepost 5. The incident happened when vehicles collided on the roadway for reasons still under local law enforcement investigation. 

Paramedics transported at least one injured victim to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The names of the injured victims have not been reported at this time. 

Rescue crews remained at the scene for an extended period of time on Friday morning, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
