Los Alamos, NM - All Lanes Closed in Pileup Crash at NM-502 & E Rd

Los Alamos, NM (April 9, 2025) - A serious car accident in the Los Alamos area on Tuesday, April 8, required support from local paramedics. The collision was reported that afternoon at around 3:19 p.m. at the corner of NM-502 and East Road. Three or more vehicles collided at the scene. All lanes in both directions were closed as a result of the crash. Local authorities advised nearby motorists to take alternative routes. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and paramedics were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined, and no updates on the conditions of the involved parties are currently available. No additional information on the accident has been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
