Even injuries that appear minor can worsen over time, so seeking immediate medical care is crucial. Accident victims should also understand that under the New Mexico statute of limitations for personal injury, they have a limited time to file a legal claim for damages. Acting quickly with the help of a qualified attorney ensures that evidence is preserved and rights are protected.
